Katherine Woodbury (she/her) www.beyondbirthing.co.uk Katherine is the founder of Continuum Doulas. Katherine has been a Doula for 15 years and developed the Continuum method to better serve her clients. Katherine is an award winning NCT Antenatal teacher, NCT Breastfeeding Counsellor and Doula Mentor. She has two children and 3 cats. |
Sarah Gichie (she/her) https://www.doulasarah.co.uk/ Sarah is an experienced Doula. She is also a birth photographer and will be in residency during the course. Sarah can take your portrait during the course ready for your website and/or social media account! Sarah gives you an insight to the world of birth photography and talks through the best tips to capture that special moment! |
Suyai Steinhauer (she/her)
www.birthfully.com CPM, RM BSc (Hons) Midwifery Suyai Steinhauer is an Independent Midwife, dedicated to providing evidence-base, client-centred care that supports people to feel empowered and confident through the childbirth continuum. Whilst working with the Amish she unpacked the medical model of birth and became confident with childbirth emergencies at home. She is passionate about supporting ‘unique normality’; birth being a normal life event rather than a medical condition; supporting babies to have a gentle start; facilitating birth physiology and guiding women to connect with their inner knowing and instinctive birthing ability. With a particular interest in pre and perinatal psychology and healing from birth trauma, Suyai offers Birth Trauma Resolution and is training to be a Somatic Experiencing practitioner. Lucy Hewitt (she/her)

Lucy is also passionate about the mind- body processes involved in pregnancy, labour, birth and early parenthood. Lilli (they/them)
https://www.swole.uk/ Lilli is a Queer Afro-futurist holding space for the past, present and future during times of transition. They provide emotional, physical, and spiritual support throughout the full spectrum of pregnancy, abortion/pregnancy release, loss, birth and postnatal transition. Lilli practices mindful movement, co-regulation, reflection and mapping to support folks in periods of change and integration. Geraldine Fowler (she/her)

Geraldine is sitting her IBCLC exam in 2014! Throughout the week she will be sharing her knowledge on topics such as anatomy and physiology, how breastfeeding works and the microbiome! |
